Cannellini Beans Veg Hamburger
Have you ever tried legume burgers? Well if you haven’t done it yet, you should: they are very simple to prepare, tasty and also a different way to propose legumes on the weekly menu, especially if you have children.
Today I propose you these cannellini bean burgers : delicious and very easy to prepare! You will want to eat them every week. It is a vegetarian recipe, with the appropriate substitutions it can also be vegan and / or gluten-free.
How to prepare Cannellini Beans Burgers
Ingredients : a jar of cooked cannellini beans, an egg white, parsley, garlic, salt and breadcrumbs just enough
(for a vegan version you can omit the egg white, if you are intolerant gluten uses gluten-free breadcrumbs or powdered cornflakes)
In a bowl, crush the well-rinsed beans from their storage liquid with a fork, add parsley, garlic powder (or other flavors to your liking, salt and pepper according to gisto. Add an egg white to compact and one or two spoons enough breadcrumbs to obtain a dry but not too dry mixture.
Sprinkle the breadcrumbs on the work surface or on a sheet of parchment paper. Spread the mixture in a uniform layer of about 1 cm and cut discs of about 10 cm in diameter with a pastry cutter (or use a hamburgher press, always taking care to sprinkle with breadcrumbs to facilitate the formation of the hamburgers and their detachment from the shape or the work surface).
Cook in a pan with a drizzle of medium heat oil, browning on both sides
Serve with a green salad.
